Fueron 133 actividades las que realizó Explora Los Ríos durante el año 2020, las que se extendieron a lo largo de todo el territorio regional, abarcando las distintas comunas de la región.
Dentro de estas actividades destacaron Ciencia Abierta, Investiga en Casa, Concurso Explora el Cine, Concurso de Dibujo Microorganismos, Concurso Fotográfico Ojo de Pez, Programa de Indagación en Primeras Edades, el Festival de la Ciencia y las actividades relacionadas con el eclipse de sol de diciembre.
En todas estas instancias participaron distintos establecimientos educacionales de la región, siendo la comuna de Panguipulli la que presentó la más alta participación con 44 establecimientos involucrados de un total de 141 instituciones que participaron a lo largo de la región de Los Ríos.
Asimismo, el 2020 Explora Los Ríos contó con la colaboración de 134 especialistas y con el apoyo de 43 instituciones que dieron vida a las distintas actividades y charlas que se transmitieron de manera virtual, debido a la situación sanitaria que atraviesa el país.
